Born Walter MacDonald, Duck has gone by his nickname for most of his life. As the town handyman of Wilby, he's lived a humble life for the most part, doing odd jobs and painting in his free time. Still and calm on the exterior, he has secrets just like any man, some a little darker than others.

He looks to be mid-forties in age with a tan, weathered face and isn't terribly comfortable wearing anything but overalls.

Duck arrives on the island after his talk with Emily in the film Wilby Wonderful.
